Lasting Gifts

Permanent Legacy

We ask you to consider leaving a permanent legacy to Excelsior's Teen Center and Swimming Pool by purchasing a GREEN SPACE in the accompanying gardens. Plaques engraved with your name and message will be installed to commemorate your lasting gift.

1. Leave a Legacy with a $100 imprinted brick to be installed in the walkway to the Teen Center and Swimming Pool. 3 Lines of 15 characters each can honor or pay tribute to a loved one. Purchase a brick for a holiday gift to honor a loved one.

2. Trees meandering through the gardens allow for quiet, contemplative strolls for the girls and their therapists. You may purchase an engraved plaque for one of these trees for a tax deductible gift of $500. Engraved plaques for smaller trees throughout the area can be purchased for $250 each.

3. Specific sites for a naming opportunity with a tax deductible gift of $2,000 include:

  • Xeric Planting Area-
  • Memorial Space- slate wall for girls to write messages to loved ones- then erase
    therapeutically
  • Seating Area- beautiful teak bench and plantings

Planned Giving

Please consider leaving your legacy to Excelsior Youth Center to support our overwhelmingly successful treatment program for adolescent girls. Giving through your estate, life insurance, retirement plan or life income arrangements through a Charitable Gift Annuity can be an economical way to leave your legacy to Excelsior without reducing your present income.

Legacy Society

We invite you to become a charter member of our newly established Excelsior Legacy Society. All you have to do is tell us you have named Excelsior Youth Center in your will. Simple as that. No details. No specifics.

If you haven't done so, please consider naming Excelsior in your planned gift that will last beyond your own lifetime and well into the future.
